Thermal paper is commonly known as original fax machine paper.It is used in fax machines for printing fax documents. Besides it is also used in:
Credit and debit card machines.The paper comes on narrow rolls that are installed directly in magnetic reader machine.
Thermal paper in narrow rolls is also used in Portable Point-Of-Sale (POS) Systems to prints out the reciepts in the particular area where workis conducted.
It is most coomonly used in ATMs at banks.After the client completes his transactions using keyboards or touch screens,the reciepts are then printed on thermal papers.
Thermal paper is used to generate medical documents,bank statements and other paper works that needs to stand up to a longer period of time or that is used to stand up for a long term storage purpose.
